Refund Policy

1. General Overview
Biosciences Reports is committed to providing high-quality service to its authors, reviewers, and readers. While we strive to offer a seamless publication process, this Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be requested or processed for authors and contributors.

2. Submission Fees
If the journal charges any submission or processing fees, these are non-refundable once the manuscript has been successfully submitted and entered into the review process. Authors are encouraged to ensure all submission requirements are met before completing the payment.

3. Withdrawal of Manuscript
If an author chooses to withdraw their manuscript after the review process has begun but before the article is published, no refund will be issued for any paid submission fees. Withdrawal requests must be formally submitted, and the editorial team will confirm the receipt of the request.

4. Article Rejection
In the case of article rejection following peer review, no refund will be issued for submission or processing fees, as the review and editorial work have already been completed. Rejection may occur due to insufficient scientific merit, failure to meet journal guidelines, or ethical concerns.

5. Article Acceptance
Once an article is accepted for publication, no refunds will be provided for any fees paid. Authors are expected to make all necessary payments prior to the final publication of the article.

6. Exceptional Circumstances
In exceptional cases, such as an administrative error by the journal or overcharging, a refund may be issued at the discretion of the editorial team. Authors should contact the journal’s customer support for assistance in such situations.

7. Refund Process
Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within 30 days of the request and will be issued through the same payment method used for the transaction. The journal reserves the right to retain a reasonable administrative fee if applicable.

8. Non-refundable Items
The following fees are non-refundable:

  • Any costs associated with additional services such as expedited peer review, open access charges, or supplementary publication options.
  • Fees for supplementary content that is processed, including but not limited to images, additional data, or figures.
